Data Deletion Policy for Mericanized

Mericanized (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy and provides you the right to control your personal data. This page explains how you can request deletion of data collected through our Mericanized chatbot on Facebook Messenger.
1. What Data May Be Stored
When you use the Mericanized chatbot, we may store limited information such as:
- Your Facebook name, user ID, and public profile picture
- Messages exchanged with the chatbot
- Interaction history and session data
This data is used only to deliver personalized learning and practice experiences related to the U.S. Citizenship Test.
2. How to Request Data Deletion
If you wish to delete your data collected through Facebook Messenger, you can do so in either of the following ways:
Option 1: Inside Messenger
Send the word “DELETE” to the Mericanized chatbot.
Our system will automatically flag your data for deletion and remove it from our servers within 30 days.
Option 2: By Email
Send an email to privacy@mericanized.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request.”
Please include your full name and Facebook user ID (if available) so we can locate and delete your records.
3. Confirmation
Once your request is processed, all associated data — including chat history, personal information, and session logs — will be permanently deleted from our systems and backups within 30 days.
You will receive confirmation by email or Messenger once deletion is complete.
